Regardless, I'm excited to see what they're working on!I also saw these positions during my search for work, so there's no doubt whatever this new game is, it will most likely be in the UE platform.I don't think a new runescape is coming because why then would they put in so much effort to make rs3 mobile if they were going to ditch rs3 soon?I don't think the next game they're working on is going to be runescape 4, but it will be in universe and a chronological continuation of Gielinor as we know it in Runescape 3.I got polled... at random, outside of any relation to runescape, on a game that was said to be linked to both the Runescape brand and Jagex at the end of the poll. I noticed my account was compromised while i was at work and begged for them to look into it. however, I have only been muted once before and then I received a huge perm mute which I don't think I fair. new. It was meant to be set at the end of the current age, and the basic gist of the story was the Elder Gods have decided to destroy gielinor (basically, we fail at convincing them that life deserves to exist; with this in mind I don't think they have any intention to close down RS3 when this game comes out as they will just simply continue the story on as if, via quests, we did convince them that life deserved to exist). That alone makes me think it'll be dead on arrival.To be fair, that's what a lot of people thought about RS2 before it came out. No way to transfer your bank or stats. Seeing how this format would make sense for a console-based RuneScape variant, I can't help but think that this new game will be RS4, who's domain will expand from PC to console as well.
