I started using VLANs in production only last year but I needed to configure both the SonicWall's logical interface as well as the VLANs on the switches.I would also suggest reading up on the difference between tagged/untagged VLANs and PVID assignments so you know the proper way they should be set up.To add to Tom's comments, don't forget to open the firewall ports for your new interfaces.I can't tell you what to do for those specific devices but I can give you an overall idea of how it's supposed to work.
