The Summit is a landmark building in Leicester, offering stunning views across the city and showcasing some of the very best student accommodation available. Unfortunately, the works are necessary, and we are aware of the inconvenience caused to you and your studies. Experience has been ruined by the construction work on the building and a refund of one weeks rent simply isn't enough, as the price was very high anyway. Total reviews: (0) Overall Rating. Construction work has been happening since I moved in; which was not disclosed when I signed my contract, and when the work started there was no indication that it would take so long. Access to onsite gym at Upperton Road, available for residents of The Summit as well. This has never been addressed by the staff. We are shutting down the construction 10/04/2020 – 01/06/2020 to enable you to study during the busy exam season.Your comments regarding the laundry room have been passed on to our laundry provider circuit.I am currently staying in the summit annex my experience so far hasn’t been completely up to expectations. There aren't any social spaces at The Summit and everyone is so stuck up, I guess that what happens when you stay in a studio apartment. Daytime between 8am and 10am. Again the heating did not work, I reported it to the security on night shift and they said it’s a shame I got a “bad heater” because they have the same in the office and it’s useless :) (I’ve been using a portable “temporary” heater for 6 months :) Had put in multiple forms for things in my room to be fixed, even had an email from a receptionist saying they've done one for me as well and yet heard nothing. Management. This is shameful and disrespectful. Leave a review. The electricity was off so I was in “temporary” accommodation for 4 weeks. The Summit 100 Eastern Blvd, Leicester LE2 7JD There has been several occasions where they have failed at their job, such as losing the safe key meaning that none of the tenants could access personal mail or deliveries. because its a student roost property you get access to the free gym which is a 2 minute walk away. The thermostat in the shower is constantly “Luke warm” We have been going through a change of caretaking staff. make sure to tag us in any of them insta pics your take of it @srleicesterRemember you can pop into the office for a chat any time and i'll pop the kettle on, we love chatting with our students!It's great to hear that you have had a great experience living at The summit! General cleanliness around the building has been poorer this year, and new staff aren't as friendly. It's a really nice looking room in a good location, could just do with a bit of cleanliness when I moved in and more urgency or contact when it comes to getting stuff fixed. unfortunatley we do not have any communal areas at the summit... however we do have some wonderful communal areas just over the road at our upperton rd property! The location of the summit is excellent, lidl is 5 minutes away and Tesco 10 minuets away.
My first impression of my room as I walked in was appalling, the floor was cracked, the toilet was dirty, the table was shaking and the lights weren’t working. Not good enough.All reviews are the views of StudentCrowd members, not of StudentCrowd LimitedEssential electrics are rubbish, boiler does nothing but break and radiator doesn’t heat anything, windows also leak. I love getting woken up at 9am every single day its great.

We have had multiple errors with the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, potentially posing a risk to any tenants with a heart condition as it is very loud and shocking. The fact that you give us 1 weeks rent as an apology makes me f****** die.
