Service in Club World is always OK, but it bothers me, that most flighattendants do just lower the Screen instead of Walking around to serve me. The seat in front has a large metal box underneath it, coming right the way to the back of the seat and covering half the width, such that putting your right leg underneath the seat in front is impossible. The toilets on the upper deck of this aircraft in Club World are huge! Excellent service. Nice that one has extra luggage storage against the window. BA booked me on a flight from London to Salzburg the next morning, my luggage didn't arrive and caught up with me two days later in Munich. There is a headphone socket on the inside of the arm rest. Bed length also feels shorter. Seat is located near a Crew access hatch. Great seat, lots of room, even in World Traveller. SeatGuru User on
Only issue with these seats is that once the seat in front of you is reclined, it is difficult to get out of your seat or pull out your meal tray. 2017/05/18 for Seat 67E Dreadfull, the seat is reasonably comfortable providing you stay still. Disturbance exacerbated as crew wardrobe/cupboard directly adjacent to aisle seat (15J) is also much used. 2016/11/30 for Seat 61a Of all the international airlines, I have found that their business class tends to be the least comfortable.
The crew served drinks throughout the flight. MOst of our bags had to be stowed down at the front of the plane which, when you have changing bags, food and milk for infants is very inconvenient. However, in the compartment behind the bulkhead at row 80 the noise level is significantly higher than further forward and the overhead bins are small because of the tail cone taper. In summing up I did enjoy both my A380 flights but feel that BA needs to take a serious look at other airlines and make the Plus that bit more special. This seat was very noisy due to the crew congregating in the galley and spending all night talking and laughing without, seemingly, any effort to keep their voices down. However, I was on a flight that was only 60% full, so there was plenty of luggage space in the overhead lockers.
