Granted it borrows greatly from Spartacus and Gladiator among other films but the combination of great story and great artwork makes this a compelling read and I can see myself returning to this again and again over the years. That being said I was quite presently surprised. There are several filler comics that some have ancillary relation to the hulks storyline but do not really add anything. They meant to send him to an uninhabited planet where he could chase bunny rabbits through fields all day, but his ship gets sucked into a wormhole and dumps him out on Sakaar instead. The hulk does destroy things but there is also some quieter times, where the hulk reflects if what he is doing is right.

Next is world war hulk for me! The people of sakaar think he is there mystical saviour from an ancient prophecy but the hulk doesn't think so.
