The level of respect from administration, particularly at the high school, to students also needs to increase.Although it is my first year of college, I have been influenced by the new setting and community that it has to offer.
He could have attended other boarding schools, but chose Washington Academy because of its small size and proximity to the ocean. First of all, I wish there were more clubs. He especially loves the interaction with older students (reading buddies, coaches assistants, etc).
I truly believe most of the teachers do not want their students to fail. In Easton, we have an amazing Spanish class. Those who are struggling can often go to them for help, and are available everyday except Wednesday in which they have a staff meeting.The school allows its students to apply so they can be apart of UTC (United Technologies Center).

Because of being around different classes and races, it made me appreciate my background, and made me more understanding of others, which is something that I'm learning, most kids lack once they get to college.The teachers are invested in each child's education, there is zero tolerance for bullying and the level of parental involvement with the school district as a whole is phenomenal.Hermon High School prepares students for college, it is the initial and final goal for everyone who goes here. The private school granted me a good basis, but overall, was lacking the teachers and the students the public schools had.
